History of television
Today television is an integral part of our life. It is made up of the Greek prefix 'telle' and the Latin word 'vizio'. Television was invented by John Logie Baird in 1925 in London.
The world's first working television was then produced by Philo Farnsworth in 1927, which was presented to the press on 1 September 1928. Color television was invented by Baird in 1928. Public broadcasting took place in 1940. He was adopted by people in the 60s.

Television debut in India
Television broadcasting in India began on 15 September 1959 from Delhi. By 1972, television services were extended to Amritsar and Mumbai. By 1975, television service had started in only seven cities in India. Color TV and national broadcasting began in India in 1982.

Television's remote control was invented by Eugene Poli. Eugene Polly was born in 1915 in Chicago. He worked at Zenith Electronic. In the year 1955, he invented flash matic.
Television inventor John Logy Baird had been ill since his childhood, so he could not attend school.
Born in Scotland on August 13, 1888, Baird had such a craze of telephone that at the age of 12, he made his own telephone. Baird thought that there would be a day when people would be able to send pictures through the air. Baird made the first television in 1924 using boxes, boxes of biscuits, stitching needles, cards, and motors with electric fans.
